If I die tomorrow, will I be able to end my life without any regrets? What do I have to do before my last moment to make certain of this?　Of course, I haven't thought much about these questions before I watched this movie. Death is just a vague and mysterious thing to me.

This story is about two men which are faced with the certainty of death. One is a car mechanic who dedicated his life to his family, the other is an entrepreneur who made a lot of money. At first, I didn't think these two men could become a friend, because they didn't have enough in common, Additionally Edward, the rich man, is very selfish. However they do end up becoming friends. One of the most impressive scenes is when Edward found the 'Bucket list' which had been written by Carter. They made the list together. When they finished making the list, they started their travels. It seemed like they made many great memories. Edward and Carter found real happiness as well as the meaning of life during these travels. Although they had lived hard through the entire life, I’m not sure their dreams come true. One could only think about money, and the other had to work under the cars for more than 40 years while he only wanted to become a professor. Although they didn't have as much time as they wanted to live, they were happy.

After watching this movie, I thought seriously about my own life. If I'm faced with death, I don't want to have regrets. I want to make my last moment of life beautiful. To prepare for my death, I decided to make my own 'Bucket list'. To tell you the truth, Death is still a vague thing to me. But I think I have to make a list that is written about the things that I want to do before I die. That is the way to live in the present passionately. Last Sunday, I made my bucket list, and I realized I have a number of dreams that I want to accomplish before I die. Discovering and writing about my dreams can become fuel for living a fulfilling life. I can take advantage of this moment and become a more ardent student.

This is my third time writing an English essay. This time is more difficult than the first and second, because I have many opinions about this movie, but I can't express my opinions through writing. But thanks to this experience, my ability at English has developed and English becomes closer to being the most interesting subject for me. To write a good report in English also happen to be one of the things on my Bucket list! Although this report is insufficient, someday I will write a good report in English after watching this movie again!

만약 내가 내일 죽는다면, 내가 후회 없이 내 삶의 마지막을 보낼 수 있을까? 내 마지막 순간 난 무엇을 해야 할까? 물론, 이런 것들에 대하여 깊이 생각해 본 적은 없었다. ‘버킷리스트’ 라는 영화를 보기 전까지 죽음이란 나에게 먼 훗날의 이야기일 뿐이었다. ‘버킷리스트’는 죽음에 직면한 두 노인의 이야기이다. 한 명은 평생 가족을 위해 헌신해온 자동차 수리공이었고 다른 한 명은 사업으로 많은 돈을 번 기업가였다.

처음에, 둘 사이의 너무 많은 차이점들 때문에 난 두 노인이 친구가 될 수 있을 것이라고 생각할 수 없었다. 게다가 부자인 에드워드는 이기적인 사람이었다. 하지만 그들은 결국 친구가 될 수 있었다. 영화를 보며 가장 감명 깊은 장면 중 하나는, 에드워드가 카터가 쓰다 만 버킷리스트를 발견했을 때이다. 그들은 함께 버킷리스트를 완성한 뒤, 여행을 시작했다. 그리고 그들은 여행을 하는 동안 많은 추억들을 만들었다. 에드워드와 카터는 그 여행을 통해 삶의 진정한 의미와 행복을 찾을 수 있었다. 그들은 지난 시간 열심히 살아왔지만, 카터는 가족을 위해 교수의 꿈을 버리고 자동차 밑에서 있어야 했고, 에드워드는 많은 돈을 벌었지만 오직 돈 밖에 생각하지 못했다. 그들에게 허락된 시간이 별로 없었지만 그들은 행복해했다.

이 영화를 본 뒤 나는 내 삶에 대하여 깊이 생각해보았다. 만일 내가 죽음에 직면한다면, 후회하지 않고 내 삶의 마지막 순간을 아름답게 마무리 하고 싶었다. 그리고 그런 죽음을 준비하기 위해 버킷리스트를 만들어보기로 결심했다. 사실, 죽음이라는 것은 아직까지도 내겐 너무 먼 미래의 이야기이다. 하지만 내가 죽기 전에 해야 할 일을 적어 놓은 리스트를 만드는 것 역시 내가 죽기 전 해야 할 일 중 하나라고 생각한다. 그렇게 나의 현재를 더 열정적으로 살 수 있지 않을까? 지난 일요일 나는 버킷리스트를 만들었다. 그리고 내가 죽기 전 꼭 해야 할 너무도 많은 꿈들이 있다는 것을 깨달았다. 그 꿈들을 발견하고 이루어 나가는 게 내 삶의 원동력이 될 것 같다. 버킷리스트를 만들며 지금 이 순간에 감사하고, 더 열정적인 학교생활을 할 수 있게 되었다.

버킷리스트 감상문은 나의 3번째 영어 에세이이다. 이 글을 쓰며 영화에 대하여 느낀 점도 너무 많았고, 또 그 느낌들을 글로 표현하기도 어려워서 지금까지 중 가장 힘든 영어 글쓰기 이었다. 하지만 이번 글쓰기를 통해 내 영어 실력이 많이 향상되었고 영어가 더 재미있는 과목으로 다가오게 되었다. 영어로 더 멋진 글을 쓰는 것도 내 버킷리스트 목록 중 하나이다. 비록 이 글이 부족한 점이 많지만, 언젠가 이 영화를 다시 한 번 본 다음 아주 멋진 소감문을 쓸 것이다.
